What ChatGPT Is For
Identify a real task where ChatGPT can help and define the result you need to review.
Understand the idea
ChatGPT is useful when you can describe a task in words and want help thinking, drafting, summarizing, planning or improving something. Treat it as a flexible work partner, not as an automatic source of truth.
Example
Turn rough meeting notes into a decision email. The notes are the source, the email is the output and you check every decision, owner and date before sending it.
Create a task-fit statement
Pick one real task from your week. Name the source material, the output you want to save and one thing you must verify yourself.
Try this prompt
I want to use ChatGPT for this task: [describe the task]. Turn it into this statement: ChatGPT will help me [goal] by using [input or context] to produce [output]. List one thing I must verify myself.

Keep in mind
- Use ChatGPT for language-heavy thinking and drafting tasks.
- Start with a clear goal, input and expected output.
- Review important answers before relying on them.
