# Content repurposing worksheet

Use this worksheet with one source asset you have permission to adapt. Start with no more than three destination assets. Keep the source, draft, approval and result in the same record; a new format does not create new evidence or reuse rights.

## Source record

- Source title and URL or file:
- Source owner and publication date:
- Original audience and purpose:
- Approved passages, slides or timestamps:
- Claims that must keep a condition or caveat:
- Rights to quote, edit, crop or reuse visuals and recordings: `[NEEDS INPUT]`
- People or customer examples that must not be reused:
- Person who can resolve missing facts or permissions:

## Destination decisions

For each destination, name the reader job before selecting a format. Skip a channel that has no clear job, source passage or review owner.

| Proposed asset and destination | Reader job | Exact source passage or timestamp | Draft angle and format | Claim condition to retain | Rights or quote check | Draft owner | Approval owner and next action |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | | | `[NEEDS INPUT]` | | |
| | | | | | `[NEEDS INPUT]` | | |
| | | | | | `[NEEDS INPUT]` | | |

## Rejected ideas and open questions

| Idea or missing input | Why it cannot move forward yet | Owner to resolve | Status |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | Unsupported claim, missing source or permission | | Open |

## Review gate

- [ ] Every draft headline points to an approved source passage.
- [ ] A shorter format still carries the condition that makes its claim true.
- [ ] Visual, recording, quotation and customer-example rights are confirmed.
- [ ] The new audience has enough context to understand the source accurately.
- [ ] Each asset has a draft owner, approval owner and review date.
- [ ] Rejected ideas remain visible until new evidence or permission resolves them.

## Draft and approval record

Copy this block for each row you decide to produce. Leave a field pending when the work has not happened yet.

- Asset and channel:
- Draft file or location:
- Exact source passage or timestamp:
- What changed for this channel, besides length:
- Claim condition and reuse rights checked by:
- Approval owner and decision date:
- Decision: `APPROVED` / `REVISE` / `HOLD`
- Reason for revision or hold:

## Publication log

Do not fill a publication date or URL before the asset is actually released.

| Asset | Channel | Final URL or location | Published date | Release owner | Status or hold reason |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | | | Pending |
| | | | | | Pending |
| | | | | | Pending |

## Result and next source

For each released asset, choose one measure that matches its reader job. State the observation window. If you lack a comparable baseline, keep the result as a description, not a claim that this process caused a lift.

| Asset | Reader job | Measure and observation window | Observed result | Comparable prior result, if any | Keep, change or stop next time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | Pending | Unknown | |
